September Guild Meeting

We hope you can join us for on September 17 at 7 pm for our program with Linda Halpin. She will be presenting “Quilting with Laura Ingalls Wilder” along with a showing of several of her wonderful quilts. Linda is certified by the Embroider’s Guild of America as a National & International instructor in Quiltmaking. She is also an excellent teacher of hand quilting.


Bus Trip to the Madison Quilt Expo

The Madison Quilt Expo features a 10-category quilt contest, vendor mall, stage presentations, lectures, workshops and more! It’s a fun day if you haven’t been there before.
Pick up at First State Bank of Shannon-Polo 1 S. Linn St. Shannon, IL 7:00 A.M.
AND at the old K-Mart parking lot, 1880 S. West Ave., Freeport, IL 7:30 A.M.
Leaving at 7:00 A.M. & Returning by 7:00 P.M. (Leaving Expo @ 4:00 P.M.)
Cost of the bus and admission $32.00 Payment needed by August 10th

August Guild Meeting

On Monday, August 20, 2018, at 7 pm, Country Crossroads Quilt Guild will be hosting Janette Dwyer, who will be speaking on Depression and Victorian era quilts in her program titled “Before Grandma was Grandma.”

Please join us for a potluck supper at 6:00 pm before the program.

During the afternoon, Janette will being doing quilt appraisals. The fee is $40.00 for a written appraisal or $25.00 for a verbal appraisal. Call Doreen at 815-973-5113 to set up an appointment.
